First the changes for Family Camp 2009:

• *NEW* A passport will be needed for each member of your family attending camp.
• Since we have no childcare in Mexico we have suggested that your children be 3 years old by June 20, 2009 to participate.
• Payment in full by May 1st is required for participation by all campers and staff. We can accept credit cards for your payments, (Mastercard & Visa).
  
• We need you to be scheduled to arrive at the Airport (Terminal 2) no later than NOON PST on Saturday, June 20th. If you need to arrive early for any reason, plan on staying at a local hotel and meeting us at the Airport on Saturday by NOON.
  
• We are departing from Mexico earlier for the United States on Friday, June 26th at 10:00 a.m. to be dropped off at the Holiday Inn on the Bay for our reenter day. We will give you your room key once you arrive at the Hotel but you will not be able to check in until 3:00 p.m., so we are providing a storage space to put your luggage until then. Plan on enjoying the pool, Coronado Island beach, rent bikes, or just tour San Diego while you wait.
  
• There will be an emergency phone number for last minute cancellations and airline delays.
• Tommy Oaks is our camp speaker!
• John Thomas Oaks is going to lead our worship band!

Now for the things that are the same:

• You will build a home for a family that will change your life as well as theirs.
  
• We will have great food provided for us.
  
• We will work all day, and worship at night.
  
• Theme parties to close our days.
  
• Dean Mathis and company will wake you each morning with beautiful singing.

Things included in The Package:

• Ground transportation from the San Diego International Airport to the camp site in Mexico and back to the San Diego International Airport by the shuttle service scheduled by you when you call the front desk at the Holiday Inn by the Bay upon your arrival June 26th, 2008.
  
• Your last night stay only at the Holiday Inn on the Bay, June 26th 2008. You are responsible for the cost of any pre- or post-camp hotel stays. If you need assistance finding hotels in San Diego before June 20th or after Family Camp on June 27th, please contact ARES Travel at 800-434-7894. They will help you find lodging near attractions in San Diego if you are staying for a couple of days, or near the airport if you are only staying overnight. This is a free service and they do have discounts available with some hotels and motels in the San Diego area.
  
• Tent for your family provided by Camping Pros, Inc.
• Transportation to and from the work sites each day.
  
• Food and purified water for all meals, including snacks.
  
• Water for your "bucket showers"
  
• Non-flushing toilets. The toilets are cleaned and toilet paper is refreshed daily in camp, but conditions vary at the work sites.
  
• Rental of all field vehicles.
  
• Reservation of Amor camp site in Mexico.
  
• Camp site security 24 hours a day.
  
• Insect and animal repellant around the camp perimeter.
  
• Major first aid supplies.
  
• Home building materials.
  
• Lantern lights for campsite.
  
• Vacation Bible School supplies.
  
• House warming gifts and Bibles for Mexican families.
  
• Circus tent rentals (dining tent and worship tent).
  
• Table and chair rental for our dining area.
  
• Generators for sound system and lighting and musical instruments.
  
• Audiovisual equipment and musical instrument rentals.
  
• Garbage disposal.
  

Package does NOT include:

• INDIVIDUAL PASSPORTS REQUIRES
  
• Your roundtrip transportation costs to San Diego International Airport.
• Your family's sleeping bags, pillows, and personal camping equipment.
• Food costs prior to being at our camp site in Mexico and after leaving camp.
  
• Towels or laundry.
  
• Individual hand tools.
  
• Tourist excursions.
  
• Personal purchases at local markets.
  
• Hotel costs before or after camp, with the exception of your June 26th over night stay at the Holiday Inn by the Bay.
