Families building houses. Houses building families.

Mexico Family Camp is a week of camping, serving, and growing together. Families from across the United States and Canada meet in San Diego to travel together across the border to the Amor Family Campsite in Tijuana . Family teams of approximately 25 work each day to build homes for needy Mexican families A tent city surrounds our large gathering tent where everyone enjoys incredible dinners and evening sessions featuring the Family Camp Worship team, this year lead by John Thomas Oaks and this year's speaker Tommy Oaks. Family Camp is a partnership of First Christian Church, of Columbus, Indiana & Amor Ministries in San Diego, CA.

The next camp is being planned for June 20th -27th 2009. Register now!

An exciting week is planned for your family. Not only will you build a house for a needy Mexican family, you will also take part in different outreach programs in the community where you are building. Come prepared for God to stretch you physically, mentally and spiritually. Join us this summer by serving in Mexico.

We have been doing Mexico family camps since 1995 and have found that the families that serve together do grow together. With that in mind, we suggest that your family attend our camp as a family. We are not opposed to you bringing a non-family member, but suggest that you encourage their parents to attend as well. The minimum suggested age for participation in Family Camp is 3 years old by 6/20/09.
